Hi, As an FYI for the Ubuntu, Fedora, Suse testers .. if you have an Intel PRO 1000 ethernet controller and use the e1000e driver, the kernel in use by these distributions in their new alpha/beta releases seems to break the EEPROM of the ethernet controller.
