Cralina (www.cralina.com) is organizing a hands on workshop on Linux System 
Programming. This workshop is designed to address the need of professionals who 
would like to move to Linux/Unix for development or even QA programming related 
activities from any other OS platform. It is also useful for those who
have done some work on any Unix flavour and feel the need to develop a solid 
understanding of the operating system and system programming concepts on Linux. 
In terms of content the coverage is comparable to Redhat's RHD251 course.

* C coding on any platform
* Some familiarity using any flavour of Unix/Linux. Knowledge of some basic 
shell commands like listing files, starting processes, using cat, grep etc.

The program is split into two parts - Linux System Programming Part 1 and Part 
2, each of 2 days duration. Part 1 is being conducted on 24, 25 September 2011. 
Part 2 will be conducted in October 2011 (dates to be announced later)

Faculty :  Has 16 years of professional experience in software design, 
development and has lead engineering product development teams at several 
MNC's. He has been associated with Cisco Systems, Intransa, Symphony Services

worked for and also delivered corporate training programs on the same.
