Hi, Networking concepts on Linux are not much different from anywhere else. Along with learning about networking on Linux, I would suggest reading the latter chapters of Andrew Tanenbaum's book on computer networks - http://www.flipkart.com/computer-networks-8177581651/p/itmczyput85uz2px.
