Hello Everyone, I have a laptop (ASUS X200LA - KX034D) this contains WiFi H/W which is Mediatek MT7630E.
There were some drivers out there but either compatibale with certain old kernel versions or specific to Ubuntu. Today found this link https://community.linuxmint.com/tutorial/view/1796 and got the drivers from https://github.com/neurobin/MT7630E/archive/release.zip Unpack and run install script, you should get the device working. Note: you will need the kernel sources for the above to work. Linux Distribution on the Laptop: OpenSuse Leap 42.1 Hope this is helpful to people having the above device. Reply with your Distribution name if it worked for you too.
