I have a TP Link router I am using for around 3-4 years, it has a USB input (in addition to RJ45) where you can use dongles. You can also configure switch between lines based on internet connectivity. I have used it extensively with Tata Photon and I think you can easily configure it with any dongle with SIM support. I have not seen a router with generic SIM slot as of now, this is the one of better solutions I have found. > > It would be nice if there are generic SIM slots where you could just > pop in any GSM sim and just use it.
