Well actually the POSIX subsystem of NT was supposed to be the "Unix"
personaility of NT.  It did not take off though, as those who wanted Unix
functionality for NT chose to use Unix instead as the POSIX api was too
simplistic, and therefore unusable (it wasn't enough to be POSIX compliant), and
those in Unix with half a brain won't even consider migrating to NT.
