this was just accomplished for pusit.admu.edu.ph last sunday.
you need to rebuild the alias table, .forward files are supported as they
are.
there's a section in the postfix pages about procmail, though the way i
understand it, postfix has its own local delivery process. the mail command
works, which is what we use
for helpdesk announcements. so far, i've been quite pleased with it.

Subject: [plug] upgrading sendmail to postfix via rpm

i would just like to query the list for comments on upgrading
sendmail to postfix via an rpm. is it safe? how about things
like .forwards, aliases and procmail? do these get broken?

how about the mailertable and all the other fancy sendmail config
i did? /etc/mail/ most of them on a redhat system.

thanks.

william
