Do it the EASY way.
Use Linuxconf.
You have to know in advance what designations those
new partitions have so carefully use fdisk or cfdisk
just to see the numbers such as /dev/hdb1 etc.
Then use those designations in your linuxconf.

You can also try webmin at webmin.com

Linux is easy with the right tools.
