We would like to replace our existing MTA. It has become
apparent that our MTA is having handshake problems with
our internal email servers. At the same time, the company
who created the software has been acquired. I have been
advocating linux in our company and would like to use
this opportunity to show linux in an enterprise environment
to management. The main function of the MTA would be to
act as a relay for unix, vms, and exchange mail servers.
Security is a must as we do want to limit who can relay off
this machine. At the same time, a manageable learning curve
for current and future SysAds. Some of the options I am
considering is PostFix, Qmail, and SendMail, in that order.
Do you have any suggestions, comments, recommendations on
how I should proceed? Thanks!

David
