we did before but we didn't have enough readers at the time. We should
probably redo the poll. but for the results to be significant, we should
probably all participate. the poll is anonymous anyway, so it isn't as
threatening as sharing info here. (yeah, for some people, the thought of
posting their preferences is a scary thing)
