When asked whether he might have accidentally released the virus, Mr de Guzman replied: "It is possible". In his thesis, which AMA Computer college rejected, de Guzman says "We spend a lots of money to pay [for internet] accounts for only using a couple of hours. So this program is the main solution. Use it to steal and retrieve internet accounts of the victim's computer." Now, if only Windows had the primitive concepts of file ownership and owner-group-world permissions for each file, then the effect of the VBscript would not have been so bad.
