I think RH5.2 uses glibc-2.0.7. You can install glibc-2.1.3 with
glibc-2.0.7. In fact all three libraries libc-5, glibc-2.0.7, and
glibc-2.1.3 can coexist as long as the proper softlinks are created.
Each application will link to the proper shared lib.
