Doc,
Had the same problem, but with an S3Trio3D
card...tried all the possible remedies posted here and
searched for some more clues in other mailing
lists..still no success. Tried FreeBSD 3.4, XFree86
3.3.5., works perfect. Haven't used Linux for a while
