in that case, the low-end baystacks will do, or the low-end catalysts. i
think everyone will agree that both manufacturers
are relatively reliable most of the time.

i do not really need it for qos. and yes cisco is already in my shopping
list. all i need is a switch that can do realiable full duplex even if all
the nodes are active. about, gigabit and atm is do not really need it. i
just want a extremely reliable 100mbps switch.

what is want to use it for? a brand new beowulf cluster!
