How will I activate http access to UserDir in my Apache 1.3.12 running
under Linux Mandrake 7.1. When I open httpd.conf I saw a line
there that says "UserDir public_html" then I created a public_html
directory in one of my user home directory (/home/username/public_html). I
also created an index.html file inside and chmod 644 the file. Still
unsuccesful and my client browser displays the message "You are not
authorized to view this page". What will I do. Thanks for any help.
