Philip, you're right about the faq-o-matic....I've read the description in
their homepage and I think this is what we need.

I've downloaded the prerequites for the faq-o-matic. William will install
it in the server...since the faq-o-matic uses perl and some requests are
on the server side, maybe we ---> the PLUG WEBTeam should try it out by
starting a FAQ thread regarding the use of the faq-o-matic itself, I
don't know if ratchet, our current server, can handle it but probably it
can coz there aren't that much people in PLUG compared to the US sites
who used faq-o-matic such as www.openldap.org, etc. I know
there are instructions in the homepage but most or some people would just
like to know how to use it. Maybe we should just include the essentials
on using the faq-o-matic itself...we can cut and paste from their site
then just create a link to the faq-o-matic site for further reading.

liam, can you install the prereq already, I've downloaded it and it is in
the download directory of the plug website.

for the others, pls. look around our current site and see if you can
suggest something, tell us of your comments and look for a solution to
that...

regarding the dynamic plug news.........I'm just gonna create an xml file
for the content of the plug news portion of our main page........just like
the slashdot and gra.ph, then we can create a parser for that.
