Let me guess. The theory behind this probably is that because the CD media
spins very fast the CDR was not able to burn the media properly. This could
be the reason why it could be read by your CD players but not by your
client's. It could also be possible that the lens of your client's CD
player is a bit dirty that's why it could not read an imporperly burned CD.
You could try cleaning the lens and also slowing down the speed of your
client's CD player.
If this does not work, your more technical theory is probably right. :)
