I've gotten an offer to hold a Linux conference at Silliman University,
Dumaguete, this August. I was thinking that maybe it could also be a
PLUG-sponsored event. What do you guys think?
Right now the idea is to hold a series of talks maybe for two days. Simple
beginner's stuff mostly. Maybe a Linux installaiton demo too. At the same time,
there would be a cookfest and/or installfest.
Also, is PLUG participating officially in any way in Linux 2000? I think there
was some discussion on this but I haven't been able to follow up.
