The WebChat will be host by ChatPinoy (irc.chatpinoy.com) of which yours
truly is a NetAdmin. Ang layunin po ng ChatPinoy ay magtatag ng isang Online
Community na Run By Filipino Of Filipino and For Filipino!!! Hindi po
nagtatagalog (o nagbibisaya, o nagiilokano, o nagkakapampangan man lang) ang
mga IRCop ng DALnet or UnderNet.
And Yes you can always connect thru an IRC Client (mIRC Pirch and the
likes) just type /server irc.chatpinoy.com
L8r actually start from chat, as a matter of fact, a lot of so call
sms-lingo originated from chat. And so does those tagalog words in short
form like cge=sige 2log=tulog, these all started in chat I think some time
1995 hehehe di pa po uso text noon, sikat nga ang selular kong Motorola
MicroTac nung panahon na yun eh hehehe.
In regards of the shareware problem, I have been chatting with some of my
co-admin a fews days ago, and we have plans to write our own Java Chat
Client. So Fear Not :)
The problem of having no one to turn to in a IRC Channel always remain,
kasi like me and my co admins, karamihan sa amin ay may hanapbuhay (SysAd
etc.) kaya most of the time you will see our nick in the channel but we are
not physically present in front of that particular machine. pero we try to
answer query naman as much as possible. kaya the more people in the channel
(kahit naka park lang) the better the chance of your query being answer. :)
Nevertheless A Channel for PLUG or not, my invitation to all of you guys na
makipag bolahan makipag manyakan at makipagbiruan sa masaya at kwelang irc
server na sadyang pinoy ang dating, Ang ChatPinoy.com :)

Why not just make a channel in DALNET or UNDERNET
and start from there? (Temporarily) I'll start it for you guys
if you want to 8o)
