just buy a Cyrix M2-333. It's actually 225MHz (75MHz x3) at 2.9V, it will
work with any main board that supports the Pentium-MMX. It only costs 1500
new. the only caveat is the FPU performance sucks rocks (P166 level). but
if you're gonna use it as a Linux box, that's not an issue. the integer
performance is about P2-266 to P2-300 level (on kernel compilation
benchmarks).
