Most commercial Unix vendors (HP, Sun, etc.) have training and
certification programs for their respective products. If you purchase their
hardware products (not just the OS), you can probably get at least some
sysadmin training for free.

The only person I know who took Unix training/certification did so as part
of his SAP BASIS admin training. 

ISP sysadmins are among the most stressed, underappreciated, hardest
working and lowest paid workers in the internet industry, and they're
fairly easy to replace.

IMHO, you're better off spending your money on DBA or database development
training.
