While reading about SMbus (needed for the hardware monitoring) I came across this page: http://www2.lm-sensors.nu/~lm78/hardhack.html Basically it tells how to tap the SMbus from a DIMM and connect it to an external breadboard for fun and games (read: home automation). One really neat feature I've noticed in the CUV4X mainboard (aside from the wealth of overclocking options.. hehehe) is that it has a dedicated SMbus header!! so there's no need to solder tiny wires to a DIMM in order to get at the SMbus signals. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Orlando Andico <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> POTS Phone: +63 (2) 937-2293 Mosaic Communications, Inc.
