You cant kill zombies. By definition they are already dead.
I have encountered an "unkillable" process only once, and recently: if
your "sensors" program (from lm_sensors package) tries to query the
Voodoo3 I2C bus using "alternative bit-shift method" it locks up somewhere
inside the kernel and becomes unkillable. I don't know if this is common
or limited to the ASUS hardware-monitoring ASIC, because it didn't happen
on my other mainboard with a Winbond hardware monitor.
