Hi everyone,

I want to gather as much options as possible regarding solutions to this
particular problem so that I can probably choose the best one. Here's the
scenario:

1. Organization is using Linux as its internal mail server
2. Organization does not have a 24/7 connection to the Internet but can dial
on demand
3. Its members have mailboxes hosted at an external site for its external
mail
4. Its members can individually connected to the external mail server using
the same dial on demand setup (one dialup line only)

Question now is:

Is there a more elegant way of having the Linux internal mail server dial
the external mail server, as a cron entry, and retrieve each member's email
via POP and consolidate it to their internal mailbox?

Please note that it is NOT possible, at this point, to have the external
mail hosted internally - so it is always hosted outside the organization and
only accessible by POP or web-based interface.

Thanks.
