Is it cheaper to use WiFi hotspots than GPRS? One presenter estimated an individual's use of about 4MB-6MB monthly to use their system. That comes to nearly 1K pesos on current telco corporate GPRS rate. WiFi is ok, but availability is still pretty scarce, if at all present, in the provinces, EGRPS/EDGE looks promising, but I don't know how fast Smart/PLDT can EDGE-enable their entire WeROAM network. --- mike t. ________________________________________________________________________ Yahoo!
