yup. it is the debian way.
Good day everyone,
I'm currently contemplating on upgrading the Warty installation I have
here at my office workstation. Is it as "easy" as say upgrading a stable
debian installation?
It should be. ubuntu style is much like debian.
Where should I be pointing the sources.list file?
just look for ubuntu apt repositories. or just change warthy to the new ubuntu version in the deb line of /etc/apt/sources.list
I'm currently doing an apt-get upgrade, but I don't know if it actually
upgrades the warty to hoary.
it will not. it just upgrades all packages of warthy to many security/bug fixes.
Is this even possible without getting my hands on a Hoary CD?
yup. it is the debian way.
TIA
