I don't think it's trolling. It's just practicality. It's not about being on this list "a long time." It's about getting real work done. You know, all of us here use Linux in some major/important capacity. That fact alone, makes you all *not a loser* -- so there's no point in contemplating it, or getting mad at Theo or what-not. Sure Theo can be a blowhard. Everyone knows that. Everyone knows that Steve Ballmer *IS* a blowhard. So what? they can say anything they want. So long as [Linux|Solaris|OpenBSD|Windows] does a job for you that needs doing, then it's a relevant and non-lossy technology choice. To hell with whoever says "you're a loser." .. > Let's say someone actually believes that Linux is for Losers. I think not. Or at > least I won't. Personally I don't give a sh*t. They can say whatever they want. And I'm sure the legions of M$ developers/admins out there, who're doing *real* work in Windows, think the same way about the OSS zealots who spend their copious free time deriding Windows. And I don't have to justify my use of Windows. Why would i? i have nothing to prove. _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
