Qemu is nice (I use it regularly to run the dominant browser to test
web apps), and much, much more useful on x86 with kqemu. However,
qemu, even with kqemu, cannot be compared to VMWare ESX/GSX server or
MS Virtual Server. They're use to consolidate several servers in one
powerful machine. Qemu is not like that. The equivalent product of
Qemu would be VMWare Workstation and MS Virtual PC. (But this is still
debatable since Qemu is an emulator while the other products are
desktop virtualization software).
