++IIRC OS X Tiger already builds and runs on x86. Actually *ALL* OS X
++versions are supposed to be running happily at One Infinite Loop on
++x86. So I thought it could be a leak or something...

[JC de Villa] Well, it *IS* possible for it to run on x86. OS X being a
BSD and all. All they'd have to do would be to take out the x86 part of
the dang thang, and optimize for the G4/5 architecture (and a beautiful
job they did!), and market, markek, market. 

OT: Sucks to be at work though (and on a win box to boot! :(
