that maybe so. the problem with articles like that is that it tend to
cause panic among the layman. an ordinary person with no scientific
background could just as easily take that article as gospel truth.

now, it's good that the author is informing the public. but that
information has to be balanced, so that people's choices will be based
on sound decisions. from a quick search of the scientific literature,
most reports doesn't show any link between autism and thimerosal. the
CDC&P seem to agree:

http://www.cdc.gov/nip/vacsafe/concerns/autism/default.htm
http://www.cdc.gov/nip/vacsafe/concerns/thimerosal/faqs-thimerosal.htm#7

(unless of course it's all just a huge conspiracy)

i say, look up as much information as you can, then form your own decision.

of course, injecting poisons (like thimeroasl) to infants and children
is appalling, to say the least. and i'm not saying that it wasn't used
as preservatives in vaccines. but many vaccines being manufactured
today are thimerosal free.

now, how many of you remember merthiolate, that pinkish antiseptic
used on cuts and wounds (this was before iodine based antiseptics came
into popular use)? there you have it, thimerosal.
