I'm considering this option even if I only have a WiFi device once a week or less - my office laptop. Why? My cable provider's DNS server often goes down (and I've seen it happen elsewhere). While my Linux box is set up with named, Windows boxes that point to the cable provider DNS (indirectly through the router) are helpless. _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
