i've done the design already (farming out the mechanical fabrication
to another friend..) but the electronics and CNC software is my area
of expertise. and i make no excuses, it really IS a duct-tape solution

sounds like a huge chisel with a brain. is this the same as that gadget
being promoted in tech tv before where it can make a 4dimensional model
of whatever you throw at the computer screen?
