My FreeBSD-6.0-BETA2 boots from BTX loader to xdm around 30sec (approximately) (with apache,mysql,ssh,inetd and lpd enabled) and shutdown around 12sec (approximately) on Toshiba Satellite A50 Centrino 1.5Ghz 256MB 40GB hdd. br -- Jimmy B.
