Hi, I have served up a linux box online for everybody to peek into (and abuse?)
hardware specs: Celeron 433mhz, 20GB HDD, 128mb ECC, 3com Etherlink XL, Intel Pro 100 internet connection: crappy 384/128 dsl (usually online 12:00-00:00 only) *not using any MAC - SELinux, RSBAC etc. *no tripwire *no restrictive firewall (it's just a gateway using ipt MASQ) *egress traffic unfiltered *using Trusted Path Execution *8MB quota *it's using experimental patches (a panic is desirable for bug reports) *installed gcc, perl, python, ruby *installed irssi, elinks - i prefer no one DoS the machine but if you like you can try out the forkbomb collection @ http://segmexec.ath.cx/forkbomb.txt please inform me if you can 1) execute your own machine code 2) open a server socket <1024 3) generally do something interesting 4) panic the system :) ssh [EMAIL PROTECTED] -p 443 password: letmeinnow Thanks --ed
