does the pdf export feature of openoffice not an option?

Actually, no need to buy PDF Distillers. You can download PDFCreator from:

i was going to curse na sana for not finding this 2 tool two years
ago...then the installer locked up my system for about 5 mins (after
which the install completed). After printing a test document, it
produced a PDF file with blank pages.
so for the meantime, I'll stick with the postscript or tiff
recommendation hehe.
