We don't use IceWM in the Shopwise POS deployment, and as far as I
remember, there is no taskbar at all. Unless our understanding of what a
task bar is differs, of course. Here's what I had in mind:

A big part of securing the Shopwise POS deployment, or any POS
deployment for that matter, is physical security. Try coming up to any
of the POS terminals to use it and you'll find yourself getting dragged
away by the internal security force and slapped with charges. We've
worked to make them acceptably secure, but the physical security threat
to a POS deployment is very different from that of say, public Internet
kiosks.

At any rate, thank you for your feedback. I will take your input into
account the next time I sit down to work on our POS setup. I hope you
did some shopping while you were snooping around to take a look at our
GNU/Linux-based POS systems. ;)
