ai baket nagkakaroon ba ng konting
alitan?
ang alam ko kasi ang mga pinoy, eh may blood ng
pagkapolitika, in this kind of community, fraternity or whatever we call it,
let's just stick to one thing, help each other. wag na masyado
pagaksayahan pa ng panahon ang politika and stuff, suggest what's best, and
correct what is wrong pero wag na palakihin ang maliit na
pagkakamali.
tayoy mga pinoy, tayoy hindi kanu, wag kang
mahihiya, kung ikay pangong plugger, wehehehe
smile, enjoy.
cheers

Subject: Re: [plug] The Wiki
i think i understand the twisted reason why they think PLUG is
exclusive. those who replied to this thread are the ones who dominate
the plug mailing lists in terms of visibility.
a few months back there was an upsurge of new blood who contribute on
the mailing lists. i took it as a good sign because that new blood
will sustain the list community support alive for a long while. it
also provides some oldbies with enough breather period to get on with
their lives. i was expecting the trend to continue by producing more
experienced users who will step forward to help but unfortunately that
did not materialize (at least to the degree that i was hoping for). :(
the problem i see with the previous posts is that they dont matter to
the ones who posted the "offensive" remarks for the sole reason that
this is the same group being accused of 'composing the fraternity
ranks'. any remarks made in defense of PLUG/QSR/Board/Volunteers will
fall on deaf ears because it will be construed as just acts of
protecting one's self. the entities being detracted are placed in a
no-win situation because they are damned if they defend themselves,
and damned if they dont. supporting remarks from less active members
wont count because they will be construed as sucking up. it is sad and
i hope i am wrong but that is the very twisted psyche that PLUG has to
contend with.
the best course of action seems to be what others have already
mentioned: dont feed the trolls. let your achievements defend you
because they will do a more impressive job than words alone. those who
cant see that is either currently too clouded by personal bias, or
simply beyond understanding.
ciao!
