In line with this, why not coincide the PLUG general assembly with any
of the big F/OSS event set next year, say on the last day of the
event? This way, we can have both technical / learning sessions *and*
an organizational session. This would also give the event a national
scope since -- hopefully -- individuals and groups from all parts of
the country will be attending? Just a suggestion. :)

There will be a LinuxWorld 2006 and actually Ms. Delia Gutierrez of
MediaG8way was the one who was/is looking forward for PLUG's support.
But I can't ask them by that time in behalf of PLUG because I will not
be the president for the next term or maybe a member of the board. This
will be the job for the next president or the next board of officers.

I already addressed this issue from the very start.

That's actually the problem. But I believe that most LUGs I know are
supporting the ideals/plans of PLUG.
