This is because it might be that the partition is set to be written to only by root. Meaning, you have the set the correct permissions to the partition device entry so that normal users can write to the partition. You also have to add the correct parameters to /etc/fstab in relation to the FAT32 partition you are mounting. HTH -- Dean Michael C.
