Last year I was researching on how to have one Linux box have multiple
users-- came across an opensource project that did just that, but it was
decided that we will not use such a system because pci video cards were
hard to come by and pciexpress was still in it's infancy.....
By the way is this question about windows 2000/XP?

Thank You. actually I already downloaded the BeTwin, next problem now
is looking for a Video Card that the 2000/XP multiple vga can support.
If this would be successful with BeTwin i'll try the userful next.

It's actually very different. LTSP is more akin to remote desktop like
terminal services from MS, sunray from Sun, etc. where you need a dumb
terminal/thin client PC to access the LTSP server.
To the original poster, No, Have not tried this. A similar technology
product for windows, Thinsoft's Betwin is what I'm familiar with. But
the high level base required technology is the same, just
different OS
is used.
The Canadian company userful has a technology where you have literally
have only 1 PC and lots of video cards/USB devices dangling on the
back, and the 1st video card/usb keyboard & mouse is for the 1st
user.
Another video card/usb keyboard & mouse for the 2nd user and so on and
so forth.
This gives different users different desktop to use and work.
This advantage translates to potential lower costs overall by not
having a thin/fat client PC. You only need an additional video
card(better if it's dual.) and usb mouse/keyboard.

Andre
