Yep, linux isn't officially supported but I've been using it on an IBM
thinkpad (via pcmcia) for the past 3 months a and so far so good.
There's are some details on the sierra wireless site on how to set it
up.  You can then use NAT or bridging or port forwarding or IPSEC/VPN
to set connect other users to your network. My only concern is that
the connection sometimes gets cut when doing large file uploads.
Perhaps this is a bandwidth shaping issue on the side of PLDT (i'm not
sure).
