wow... that's a lot of info. anyway, my case is this.
A pc from my house would be connected to a DSL, a home-plan DSL is on a
private network, right? it's expensive to get the business one that
provides a static IP. anyway, i need to access that PC from my office,
preferably using VNC. now my workstation is also in a private network.
There is a spare pc from our office that has a public IP and that i can
access it from the private network, and yeah it has two lan card for the
public ip & private ip.
If you are going to use Linux on your spare office PC that has two LAN cards, you can use NAT on that PC to redirect you to your target PC.
