Right on.  I remember all too well my first few posts in plug.  All the groaning from some oldbies almost turned me off.  Luckily, the other oldbies were more friendly.  Heck, I don't even remember if they directed me to the newbie list the first time they replied!

The other posters here are right, newbies don't know any better, and they know *ONLY* of plug.  They have no idea, usually, that there exists a plug-newbies list, so they post in the plug list first.  I know, coz the same thing happened to me, too, 2 years ago.
