I have not tried this yet but the new KDE 3.5 boasts support
for webcams as one of its new great features.

success. use gyach.
pero i must warn you na it only support v4l1 and usually webcam drivers shipped with 2.6 kernels support v4l2.
ang gumagana sakin is creative webcam pd1030 using ov511 driver
nakakapag yahoo messenger web chat ako kasama voice using gyach

Tried this Gyach Program, stil under development kasi pag madami ka nang ka-chat namamatay ng kusa. Pero it works pag nag-broadcast ka sa linux ng webcam. ;-)
