Hi,
I feel that EFI is just another tactic to attack Linux, Imagine if your hard drive has it's own driver on a hidden sector on the disk and is only designed to work with MS Windows..... how about other integrated devices such as Video, LAN, WiFi, etc.
Since EFI Practically allows OMEs/Manufacturers to imbed the drivers just like firmware, if they do not provide GNU/Linux compatbility then we're stuck.....
