Actually, the problem is Microsoft OS, and in particular the dll
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\msvcrt.dll", which is the Microsoft Visual C++
runtime library. This library provides support like the combined
(libc+libm)
of Linux. All compilers for Windows, as a general rule, use this library,
and so all compilers suffer from the "long long printf()" problem, and the
lack of true "lon g double" implementation, distinct from "double".
yes but there are other c++ compilers like Intel C++ compiler for windows
for example supported long double as an 80-bit precision by using this
/Qlong_double switch from its default 64-bit precision... borland's c++
builder, ibm visual age c++ and win32 port of gcc thru cygwin32 supported
that also... you have lots to choose from for windows platform just to stay
away from microsoft visual c++ :->
fooler.
