Hello all, I have here an ECS KN1 SLI Extreme motherboard with an AMD Athlon64 processor, 2GB RAM and 2 identical Seagate 200GB SATA HDDs. I'm wondering if I'll make use of the BIOS RAID 1 that is supported by my motherboard or shall I just use the software RAID 1 of GNU/Linux. I believe that my motherboard is using the SiS's Sil3132 SATA RAID Controller but I don't know if it's already recommended for production use or not.
What do you suggest? Please advice. Thanks in advance. --- MARVIN T. PASCUAL E-mail: mpascual AT qsr DOT com DOT ph Tel. No. +63 2 9287776 Mobile No. +63 918 4115188 Yahoo!
