I got to use a Neo laptop before, and I didn't have any complaints with its performance (FC3 with KDE worked great, including the Intel 2200BG wifi after I manually installed the drivers). Although the model I got to use was one of their higher-end models, I'm sure their lower-priced ones are okay too. They even have one now that's priced at 30thou, but that's a Celeron. At your budget, I'd get their cheapest Pentium-M equipped model, then add more RAM to make it 512MB. _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
