Quoting Enrico Tan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
Hi everyone,
Can Linux be used in Internet cafe? Does it has problem accessing the
internet?
Linux can be used in an Internet cafe. See later comments.
Nearly 80% (90%? I don't know the numbers really) and up of ISP's
within the Philippines use Linux, BSDs and/or other free software.
Makes a real difference in the bottom line.
How about running games (online and offline) especially the more
popular ones like Ragnarok, MU, Tantra, etc.
The sad fact is that "Internet cafes" here in the Philippines are just
gaming stations in disguise and not real Internet cafes as it was
really intended to be. Gaming stations that just so happen to need
Internet access as a gaming requirement for the MMORPGs.
