I dont sorry. i rely either on Migs, Andres, Percy, Melvin or whoever hapless Linux dude I know who happens to wander by. Most of the time I only need a quote, and pressed for a deadline (like right now) anyone will do! Kapalit nun, a mention of whatever org or company they're involved in and how to reach them is de rigueur, hence some measure of mileage.

At the end of the day, any article will find print on the merits of how interesting it is per se, regardless of it being MS or Linux (unless you're related to the publisher, then you get carte blanche).
So yeah, if someone writes well, writes timely and keeps his editor happy (Absolutely Crucial), it'll get published. State your case to the publication you have in mind and as long as you keep the editor happy (Absolutely Crucial) they'll keep getting you! :)

At this point it's time to discuss intended goals. If it's just occasional mileage, that's easy enough. How much coverage and what kind is good enough?
